About
UsGung Ho!
Our
Company Philosophy
Our way of thinking
at Century has always been in line with the goals of our Mission Statement,
and in 1998 we formally adopted a business philosophy called Gung
Ho! The Gung Ho! values that have been passed down through generations
of Native Americans involve three cornerstones that are surprisingly simple,
yet amazingly powerful.
The
Spirit of the Squirrel
represents Worthwhile Work: knowing we make the world a better place;
everyone working toward a shared goal; and allowing values to guide
all plans, decisions and actions.
The
Way Of the Beaver
represents Being in Control of Achieving the Goal: a playing field with
clearly marked boundaries; thoughts, feelings, needs, and dreams are
listened to and acted upon; employees are able but challenged.
The
Gift of the Goose represents Cheering Each Other On: true congratulations;
no score, no game; and cheer the progress!

All
of this may sound somewhat peculiar to the newcomer, but our Gung
Ho! philosophy has created a collection of raving Century and Core
employees who are truly "providing customers with service beyond
expectation" and creating raving fans like you, our customer.
